Acteens Challenge Team
The Alabama Challenge Team is made up of teen girls who exemplify Christ as they represent Alabama WMU in various ways.
Challenge Team members...
- Help plan COMPLETE...a gathering for girls in grades 7-12. COMPLETE is typically held in March each year.
- Represent Alabama WMU, Acteens, or Girls Ministry at other events as their schedule permits.
- Have opportunities to share their testimony and contribute to the Alabama WMU newsletter, Panorama.
- May be asked to visit other Acteens or Girls Ministry groups and share about their journey toward Christlikeness.
- Are eligible to apply for a missions scholarship!
To apply for the Alabama Challenge Team you...
- Must be entering the tenth grade or above, or be 15 years old by September 1st.
- Must be an active member of a local ActeensTM OR Girls Ministry group and an active member of a Southern Baptist Church in Alabama.
- Must complete application and write pargraphs describing
- How I became a Christian and how I have grown as a Christian during the past year
- Why Acteens or Girls Ministry is important to me
- Why I want to serve on the Alabama Challenge Team
- An idea for a conference to be offered at COMPLETE
- Must agree to serve from September 1 to August 31. Team members may participate in COMPLETE programming as well as other ActeensTM promotion and/or state sponsored events.

Must have your application to Alabama WMU no later than May 15. Applications must include most recent and clearest passport size photo, parents signature, Acteens Advisor/Director's signature, and requested paragraphs. Only fully completed applicaions will be considered.The deadline to submit your application is May 15, 2012.
